Terms of Service

About Atrict
Atrict is a personal family-memory tracker operated as a small-scale, non-commercial project. By creating an account or using the service in any way, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Atrict.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Atrict is designed for parents and guardians to record memories about their children — children themselves should not create accounts. By posting content about a child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or have explicit permission from one to do so.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. You may share access to specific kids with other people via the invite system; you remain responsible for who you grant access to.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, or that you do not have permission to post.
- Upload content depicting minors in a sexual, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate manner. Such content will be reported to the relevant authorities.
- Use Atrict to harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
- Attempt to access accounts, kids, or memories you have not been given access to, or otherwise probe, scan, or interfere with the service.
- Resell or commercially exploit the service without written permission.
- Upload malware, automate bulk activity, or attempt to overload the service.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload (text, photos, metrics). By uploading, you grant Atrict a limited license to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service for you and the people you have shared with — nothing more.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violating these terms or for any reason we deem necessary to protect the service or its users. You may delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected].
Service availability
Atrict is provided on a best-effort basis with no service-level guarantee. The service may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued at any time without notice. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any content you cannot afford to lose.
Disclaimer of warranties
Atrict is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator of Atrict shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service. The total aggregate liability of the operator to you for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to use the service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 0.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operator of Atrict from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you upload or from your violation of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Atrict after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable consumer-protection law.
